During Term 2 the children have been participating in Dance Fever classes. Dance Fever is part of the curriculum for this Term. Students learn routines, creative composition and social skills development.
The students have been taught by the wonderful tutors Rachel & Albert, who have made these lessons fun and interesting.
We hope the Parents who came along this morning to watch the presentation really enjoyed themselves as much as the children did, as evident in the photos.

Our Year 6 students had an incredible day of discovery and reflection during our excursion to the city today! The day began with a step back in time (and a step into leadership) at NSW State Parliament. Students walked the halls of power, learning about the democratic process and the history of our state. It was fantastic to see them engaging with how our society is governed and thinking about their roles as future citizens. We then transitioned from the bustling halls of Parliament to the serene beauty of the Royal Botanic Gardens. As part of our learning in Religion, students took a "sacred pause" among the greenery. It was a special moment to witness them reflecting on the wonder of Godโs creation, finding peace and gratitude in the intricate details of the natural world right in the heart of Sydney. From the pillars of government to the petals of the gardens, our students represented the school with pride, curiosity, and a spirit of reflection. Today marks the beginning of our annual Project Compassion Appeal! As we enter the season of Lent, we join with Caritas Australia to help end poverty and promote justice across the globe. The theme this year is โUnite Against Poverty,โ reminding us that the small actions we take today can create a lifetime of change for communities in need. Project Compassion supports some of the most vulnerable communities in the world. In Week 6, we are participating in the Big Water Walk to raise awareness about the fact that there are some countries in our world that donโt have sufficient water supplies. Together we can help others!

What a beautiful and meaningful day at St. Josephโs!
