Today we celebrated St Joseph's Feast Day. At 8.45 am a Liturgy was planned by the Year 1 teachers and students. Many parents joined with the students and teachers. Our School is very privileged to honour St Joseph
Catholic tradition honours the feast of Saint Joseph as the husband of Mary on March 19 The March 19 date is of comparatively recent years (1621) and is formally named the Solemnity of Saint Joseph Spouse of The Blessed Virgin Mary, the traditional day in the Western Church.

During Term 4 we have been focusing on the Catholic Social Teaching of ‘Preferential Option for the Poor’. As part of living out this Teaching have supported our Local Parish Mary Immaculate and the Stanhope Gardens/Quakers Hill St Vincent De Paul Conference with creating Christmas Food Hampers. We have created an incredible 80 hampers that were picked up today. These Christmas Food Hampers will be distributed to families in need in our local community this Christmas Time. We want to express our profound gratitude to our school community who contributed to this Faith in Action Initiative. Thank you! 💜

Years 5 & 6 (2026): Eligible to nominate for all sports when they open. Year 4 (2026): Eligible to nominate for Hockey, Softball & Touch Football only. Eligibility & Requirements ✅ Trials are for students who can demonstrate: - Above average ability - High level of skill development - Representative playing experience applicable for some sports - Regular competition experience outside of school (preferred) ✅ To be eligible: The 2026 CSPD Primary Sport TEAM Registration Form must be completed. St Joseph’s Year 6 were BOOT SCOOTIN’ last night! 👢✨ The barn was rocking for the Year 6 Bush Dance! 🌾 Our students swapped their school uniforms for denim, cowboy hats and boots, bringing incredible energy to the dance floor. It was a night of laughter, spinning, and some very impressive dance moves. It was fantastic to see everyone letting their hair down and celebrating the end of a busy year. Making memories that make a splash! 🌊 Today was one for the books! Our Year 6 cohort took part in the legendary Motiv8 Day, and the energy was electric. ⚡️ It’s days like these—filled with sunshine, water, and genuine joy—that our students will remember long after they graduate.
