Our Year 6 students had an incredible, front-row seat to democracy today! As part of their Canberra excursion, they visited Parliament House and had the absolute privilege of meeting our local Federal Member and Minister for Communications, Michelle Rowland MP. Itโ€™s not every day you get to chat directly with a Member of Parliament in the nation's capital! The students asked some fantastic questions, learned firsthand how our laws are made, and represented St Joseph's with immense pride and leadership. A huge thank you to Michelle Rowland MP for taking the time out of her busy parliamentary sitting schedule to meet with our leaders of tomorrow. This is a memory they won't soon forget! ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ›๏ธ #StJosephsSchofields #Year6CanberraTrip #ParliamentHouse #CommunityLeaders #FutureLeaders Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese
