St Joseph's student, Noah McGaughey trialed for the Parramatta Diocese Mackillop boys Softball team on Wednesday 21st June.

This event had been postponed on a number of times since March due to the wet weather. Finally, Noah got his chance to play! Noah made the last 22 out of 50 people. He said it was amazing experience and great to be around so many players from all around NSW.

Well done Noah.

During Term 4 we have been focusing on the Catholic Social Teaching of ‘Preferential Option for the Poor’. As part of living out this Teaching have supported our Local Parish Mary Immaculate and the Stanhope Gardens/Quakers Hill St Vincent De Paul Conference with creating Christmas Food Hampers. We have created an incredible 80 hampers that were picked up today. These Christmas Food Hampers will be distributed to families in need in our local community this Christmas Time. We want to express our profound gratitude to our school community who contributed to this Faith in Action Initiative. Thank you! 💜
