Well done to all our netball teams! They played in the true spirit of a gala day and a fun day was had by all.
Our teams did us proud displaying great skills, team spirit and by being good sports.
Thank you to all our wonderful parents and other volunteers who coached, managed, scored and umpired, as well as those who came to support and encourage the teams..
A big thank you to Mrs Crane who spent many of our school breaks leading up to the day training all the teams..
We had some great results all round......
Our junior girls team was undefeated!.
Our junior boys had some tough competition and close scores, showing lots of determination and improvement as the day went on..
Our senior girls 11 were on fire, finishing second in their pool..
Our senior girls 12 started the day strong with a couple of wins. They played their hearts out being down a player for most of the day, with an unfortunate injury to one of their players..

Uncle Ted from Jarara came out to visit today, we sat together and talked about their culture. The stories that shaped their people, the land that holds their history, and the totems that carry meaning through generations. Uncle Ted shared what he knew, and the students asked lots of questions, and found new ideas connecting their identity. From those conversations, a creative spark took hold. Together they explored ways to bring those ideas to life through art sketching and painting. It became a meaningful exchange: culture passed on not just through talking, but through making.

Yesterday, a contingent of our Year 6 Faith in Action team participated in LIFTED Junior. This was an opportunity for students to encounter Jesus through music, testimony, discussion and prayer. The event allowed students to explore and deepen their faith and reflection on how their personal gifts call them to mission and service. It was wonderful to see our leaders so engaged in this important part of their faith formation.

🌅 Lest We Forget 🌅 This morning, as the sun rose over Riverstone, students from St Joseph’s Primary School Schofields stood alongside our community at the Riverstone Dawn Service to honour the ANZAC spirit. In the quiet of the early morning, our young people bowed their heads in remembrance of the men and women who served and sacrificed for our nation. It was a powerful and moving experience — one that reminds us why we gather each year on this sacred day. ANZAC Day Liturgy Today, our school community came together in prayer and reflection as we held a special ANZAC Day Liturgy to honour and remember the brave men and women who have served our country.
